ELMAR

During a restauration project in Cologne a colleague of mine called Jana told me that her daughter (then 3years old) would still play with the crocheted blanket I had made for her birth. It would be used to tuck her cuddly toys in at night... So cute! As an ardent cuddly-toy-lover I was so moved that I offered to produce a further toy to be bedded in the blanket. Jana suggested I'd make "Elmar" - a seemingly very famous elephant amongst toddlers - from her daughter's favorite picture book.

One crochet-weekend later... TADAA!!! ... ... ... Ehm, sorry, I meant to say     TÖ-RÖ-Ö-Ö!    - of course. ;)
